ALUMNI UPDATE: About 30 members of the Fairmont High School Class of 1964 gathered the last week of May for a rainy day indoor picnic lunch to celebrate all their classmates turning 80 this year. A good time with fun memories and stories was had by all! The Class of 1964 is the largest class to ever graduate from a Fairmont High School with 760+ graduates.

Many Dragons, Falcons, and Firebirds are gearing up to reconnect and celebrate milestone reunions this summer. What does your class have planned? If you're interested in a campus tour, like Doug Layer from the Fairmont West Class of 1981, get in touch soon to get it scheduled!

Are you local to the Kettering area and looking to offload old neckties? The Fairmont Main Office will gladly accept donations of clean ties (any design or style will do) for students who may need them for graduation. Please drop off any weekday 7:45-3:15. Graduation for the Class of 2026 is on Thursday, but they can store ties for next year too!

Don't miss out on this celebration! As students and staff prepare for their last week of school, it's time to start saying our final farewells to Van Buren. Whether you were a VBJHS Knight or a VBMS Firebird, these halls and classrooms hold countless memories for Kettering alumni and the community. On June 10, come celebrate the legacy of excellence built at Van Buren and throughout our schools as we prepare to move into the new buildings that will be home to our next generation of Kettering kids. Bring a friend and let's pack the Van Buren auditorium one last time! Opening program in the auditorium from 5-5:30 with an open house until 7:00.
