Polished

I’ve sat down to write this many times, and something about putting it into words makes it harder. So, I am writing this with a heavy heart, but soooo much gratitude in my soul ❤️ After 12 incredible years running Polished and 21 years as a licensed nail tech, I have decided it’s time to close my doors at the end of this year. This decision was not easy, but feels like the right choice.

Owning this salon has been a dream come true! Ever since I received my nail license, I imagined creating a space like Polished. A place filled with beauty, connection and care. Building this business while raising my girls was no small feat, but it meant the world to me. It was my sanctuary, my creative outlet and a way to show my girls you can chase your dreams with hard work and determination. Seeing that dream come to life and sharing it with you, has been one of the greatest joys of my life.

Now though, my body (especially my shoulder) is begging for a break after years of strain. The rising costs of running the salon and balancing real estate have also played a role in this decision. I have poured my all into Polished and connecting with each of you! I want to step back before I am stretched too thin.

It’s really you…who have made this journey so incredible! The laughs, stories, tears and moments we have shared over manicures and pedicures are memories I will cherish forever. That is what I will miss most. THANK YOU for trusting me, cheering me on and making Polished sooo dang special.

The plan for the next three months is business as usual with my regulars. I will end doing pedicures in November and manicures end of December (actual date to be decided) I have some seasonal products on the way and will share when they arrive! Then in December I will have a big blowout sale on remaining products 🎅🏼
