A gathering of people from varied lived experiences who are seeking to understand the love of God. We are also a family - we aren't perfect, no family is.

Ketchikan Naz is a Christian church: a group of people who have committed their lives to following the teachings of Jesus Christ. We encourage one another to balance personal spiritual life and public spiritual life, and having found it challenging and rewarding, we share both. This means that sometimes we get along great, and other times we rub each other the wrong way. What sets us apart is the

What do we do when Romans 13 tells us to submit to governing authorities, but those authorities seem unjust? This Sunday we wrestled with one of Scripture's most challenging passages—sandwiched between two powerful calls to LOVE.

Here's the truth: God cares about social order because chaos crushes the vulnerable first. Our submission to earthly leadership must always be filtered through the lens of Christ-like love. We're called to participate in society for God's glory—unless that social order harms our neighbor.

The question isn't "Which political party did Paul support?" It's "Does this help or harm my neighbor?" Boring holiness is still holiness: pay your bills, keep promises, tell truth, put others first. But when authority demands what God forbids? Flipping tables can be a holy act of love.

Love is your political ethic. Full stop.

Tomorrow is Palm Sunday - a day the church gathers to reflect on Jesus entering Jerusalem with the anticipation of His own crucifixion on the horizon. It is important to understand the moment in the context it would have been experienced in, not how we have sanitized it 2000-some-odd years later. This was not a joyous parade...it was a politically and religiously charged mob - and we must wrestle with that, and what that means for Jesus-people today. If you don't have a church home, we'd be honored if you joined us in person or online tomorrow at 10am!

Update and urgent prayer request from Marlene Mshantaf, Nazarene Evangelical School Principal, Lebanon.

“Early this morning, a bomb hit an apartment building just behind our school and church. By God’s grace we are safe, but the situation around us remains very tense and uncertain.

Please pray for protection over our students, staff, families, and neighbors. Pray that the Lord would place His hand of mercy over our community and bring peace to our country. Many people are living in fear, and we truly need God’s intervention in this difficult time.

We hold on to the promise that ‘God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.’ (Psalm 46:1).”
