Today Syd clocked out for the last time and we could not be more thrilled for her!

35 years of keeping track of schedules and fish boxes and putting up with our shenanigans! 35 years of building relationships and working like no one else did! 35 years of answering phones and watching our business grow! No one has crossed the street at 1471 Tongass Avenue more than Syd!

You’ll be missed Syd—go have some fun! Happy retirement!!

It is that time of year! If you have a photo from your trip that you think all of our guests need to enjoy, we hope you will submit it for consideration for our annual guest calendar!

Generic fish/scenic/wildlife photos work best for our monthly photos, while group or individual shots may make the cover! Images should be high resolution and include the name of the photographer so proper credit can be given. Submissions can be emailed to [email protected]

Congratulations to Abbie (Cedars Lodge) and Jarom (Clover Pass Resort) on their next big adventure! Yes, you will see them on the docks this summer!

Best wishes to Avery (Cedars Lodge and Adventure Ketchikan Tours) and her new husband Ethan as they begin their lives together as well! Avery will be narrating Hovercraft tours again, while Ethan will be driving tour buses in town!

We love employing these spectacular young adults and are so excited for what lies ahead!

If you’ve been around the kitchens at Cedars or Silverking in the last several years you probably noticed this quiet little baking queen. Logenn just finished some training .pastryacademy and we can’t wait to see what she brings back to Ketchikan! Hoping she decides to stick around the lodges for another year or two so our guests can continue to reap the benefits of her talents! 🥖 🍪 🎂
