Thought it would be great to have a FB Page where we could share whale sightings! Feel free to post photos and maybe we can start identifying pods. Thank you.
A place where people can post their whale sightings so others can get a chance to see the whales, too. :-) Please put the date, time, location of whales and what direction they are heading in your post. Have fun.
4 killer whales just went by Mile 5.9 south Tongass headed toward herring cove but looking more like they are going toward Carroll Point.
Possibly 5 humpbacks just passed Krn Airport headed toward shoreline Drive. Very close to shore. They are about at AJ’s Burgers now. That is if they don’t turn around. We are seeing lots of diving and flukes from the airport side.
