Mark your calendars because after a little bit of a hiatus from our car shows I’m pleased to announce the 4th of July car show at First Banks parking lot will be happening this year.

The parade will be passing by the show like it used to!

I will update with further details when we get a little closer.

We have had alot of people ask us about the car show this year. Unfortunately we are not having one because of the parade being downtown. Last year no one came and it was a real disappointment. Hopefully next year the roads will be back to normal and we can get back to showing off our cool cars.
We plan on having a show later this month, probably at Walmart so watch for more news on that.

Hello Kruzers!

Our 4th of July show is a go! We will be having it at the First Bank parking lot!

This year will be a little different as the parade route will not be passing by our location due to it starting closer to downtown. However this show is typically the biggest one of the year so we felt it would not be right to miss it.

The show will be 11am - 3pm. Members wanting to place a car in should arrive around 10am, you are more than welcome to drop off earlier as well, just let one of us know. It’ll be a great place to park your ride and take a short walk to watch the parade and come back to hang out!

Spring opener had a great turnout! We couldn’t have asked for better weather given the last few weeks we’ve had.

Thank you to our members who helped setup the grill and cooked! Donna and Laurel always know how to make some mean burgers/hot dogs.

Also want to give a special shoutout to Glenn Brown and Katherine Tatsuda for helping man the grill and feeding everyone today!

Hello Kruzers! The weather is looking very very promising for tomorrow! Let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope we get a nice dry day!

Fun little thing we have for our members who bring cars to the show,

Craiger from Tyler Industrial has graciously donated a gift certificate for a weekend rental with a JD-50 excavator.

Everyone who is up to date on their yearly dues and also enters a car will be put into a drawing that we will have at the end of the show!

The weather is looking very promising this Saturday. We are still planning on having our Spring Opener out at Tyler Industrial.

Cars can start showing up 11-11:30 and we will be there til 3 if the weather holds!

First show of the year for the Kruzers let’s make it a good one!

Our first event of the year is coming up, we’ve scheduled it for 12 - 3 PM Saturday June 8th @ Tyler Industrial! Special thanks to Tyler Industrial for hosting our spring opener again!

Anyone interested in bringing a rig please show up around 11:30am so we can get all the cars staged!

This is a weather dependent event and we will update once we get closer to that date!

I would also like to take a moment to bring up a topic of discussion for our plans for the 4th of July. Typically we have our 4th of July car show at the First Bank parking lot, this is usually our biggest turnout of vehicles for the year. However, this year we have learned construction may push the start of the parade nearby Bush Pilots Lounge and bypassing most of the west end. I’d like to pick your brains about ideas for a possible area big enough to host our 4th of July show somewhere downtown?

Hello Kruzers!

We have been invited out to the 9th Annual 9/11 Memorial Parade!

We will begin staging in front of Fire Station 1 at 4:30 pm on Monday 9/11 and will parade to Tyler Rental and back. We have been given permission to use the Federal Building parking lot for the vehicles after the parade!

The Fire Department will also be hosting the Community BBQ this year for everyone!

The weather forecast calls for your typical Ketchikan overcast and rain, but rain or shine the Kruzers have made a presence at this event over the last few years and it may be the last get together of the year, so if you are able to join and don't mind getting a little wet we will see you there!

Good evening Kruzers! Our Ward Lake picnic for tomorrow (08/13/2023) will be canceled due to our crazy fall-esque weather.

Unfortunately, this should have been a rain or shine event, but honestly, I don't think we factored sideways rainy weather yet 😅.

But summer is not over!

If we get some more good weather on the weekends, I will try and organize some Saturday afternoon meet and cruises!

We may also try and get everyone together for the 9/11 memorial cruise as well.

Thank you so much to all the Kruzers who participated in the 4th of July show! We had a great turnout and the weather was perfect. It was such a fun day visiting with everyone 😎.
