Due to the recent calls by the PDGA and the precautions our federal and local government has asked us to take, we will be suspending the tournament until further notice. There is no way to know where this outbreak will reach by the time of the tournament, but we can only choose to be safe. I’d like to thank everyone for their huge support of this event, and that it will continue to happen, as soon as things start to stable out. My disc golf bag has a tag on it that says “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind”. Be smart, Ketchikan, and we’ll all get through this together. Hey everyone! Thank you all for your interest in our tournament. We will be following the advice of the PDGA in how to handle the virus, and how we proceed with the event. As of now, the PDGA has not advised toward the cancellation of local events, and other northwest tournaments have not been cancelling yet. We will proceed with this in the best interest of our community, and we will be following the spread of the virus closely. Thank you everyone for your support.

Another big thank you to another disc sponsor for the event. Residential Youth Care (A State of Alaska To***co Prevention & Control Program Community Grantee) will be generously donating 16 discs to be given out at the event for free. That brings us up to 41 discs so far! Invite your friends, It's going to be a good time.

Hey everyone! We just received our first official sponsor for the event! KPU will be donating 25 discs which will be given out to the first 25 participants of the event to arrive. Fret not if you're not one of the first 25 to arrive, as we have other sponsors in the works now. The goal is to have every participant to walk away with at least 1 free disc provided by community sponsors supporting our event. I will be putting together a tournament for the first or second weekend of April to start out the disc golf season. I'm still getting all of the logistics together, but the goal is to give everyone at least a couple of free discs, and have bonus prizes for the winners as well.
