Found this plug in at my house…and with just a few tools….life is much safer!
Working on a clients garage - helping prepare for the home to be listed/sold.
Client says 'everything in the garage goes'... please dispose of it all.
My services include going through every box, every envelope and browse through every book. Why? Because many times family treasures can be found and must be returned to the owner!
In this clients case I found multiple 1 ounce silver bars hidden in a coin purse, jars of very old coinage that is worth way more than face value, a wallet with $20's, $10's, $5's, and $1's, real gold and silver items, jewelry and more.
I also set aside items that I wanted the clients to review just to be sure it really is a get rid of item - family photo albums, old dolls in boxes that looked cared for, and more.
This is what I feel sets my services apart and above the companies who 'take your junk away'. Do they go through it and recycle/ disperse to people who can use it (not Goodwill or Value Village as much as possible) without financially benefiting from sale of said items? Do they return found valuables? I do these things.
I love my job.
I love finding these treasures and returning them to their owners.
