Intro to Tai Chi

Come learn about the fundamental tai chi principles and basic tai chi movements.
All experience levels welcome. This workshop will involve active participation so please wear loose, comfortable clothing.

Día is known as Children’s Day or Book Day (El Día de los Niños y El Día de los Libros). Día promotes books, world languages, and cultural awareness for families.

11:30am-12pm: Welcome from Executive Director Heidi Daniel, Director of Equity and Social Impact Department Dominica Myers, Mayor of Kent Dana Ralph and Kent Police Chief Rafael.
12-12:30pm: Spanish/English Story Time with Se Habla Anchor Jaime Méndez.

Build reading skills and confidence by reading aloud to a certified therapy dog. Reading with Rover is a community-based literacy program working with schools and libraries throughout the greater Seattle area.
