We are very excited to introduce our new Graduate Assistant! Ana arrives to lead and support our viola section, working and being in constant communication with our other leaders and our conductor in each orchestral cycle. Learn more about her below! 🎼
Hi everyone! My name is Ana Dominguez, I am from Colombia and I am in my first semester of my Master of Music Performance in viola. I love playing in orchestra and chamber ensembles, but I also like to dance, try new food and learn about different cultures, so my experience at Kent State University has been very pleasant!
In the time I have been here, besides learning interpretation in different fields, I have also perfected my English and I have met many people of different nationalities, so I have been able to have an approach to other cultures from which I have been able to learn a lot.
The energy of everyone at KSU is very motivating to keep learning. Everyone has helped me feel like I am a part of the university and I would be very happy to eventually help new people feel a part of it too!
