6-Hour SWAT Standoff After High-Speed Pursuit in Mesa 🚨🚔

In Mesa, Arizona, Mesa Police Department air units tracked a stolen SUV through a McDonald's drive-thru and across city streets.

After losing a tire, the suspect stopped the vehicle near 8th Avenue and Stapley Drive, where multiple occupants bailed out.

The driver fled through backyard residential areas, jumping fences and residential walls before crawling beneath a mobile home to hide. Officers surrounded the residence, leading to a 6.5-hour SWAT standoff. SWAT operators eventually cut through the home’s flooring to breach the crawlspace, deploying tear gas to extract the suspect into custody safely.

Road Rage Incident in Edmond Leads to Felony Charges 🚗💥

In Edmond, Oklahoma, local traffic cameras captured Wesley Brazer exiting his vehicle at an intersection to kick and confront other drivers.

When Officer Joshua Pratt of the Edmond Police Department tracked Brazer to his residence, the interaction escalated quickly. Brazer claimed to suffer from intermittent explosive disorder, but when Officer Pratt attempted to take him into custody, Brazer struck the officer with a closed fist, leading to a physical struggle on the ground before Captain Darek Pickard arrived to assist.

Brazer was arrested and subsequently pleaded guilty to Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, receiving a five-year deferred sentence with supervised probation, court fees, and mandatory mental health treatment.
