I’m proud to endorse Councilwoman Satwinder Kaur for her reelection. While we may not always agree politically, I know she consistently does what she believes is best for our city. This is a community that I’ve been a part of for many years both in volunteer positions and elected positions.

This is a nonpartisan race, we’re elected to serve the residents of Kent and doing what’s best for them. Satwinder has brought real solutions to the table without compromising our city. Her leadership has always been focused on results, not politics, and that’s why I’m publicly supporting her

Last night the house democrats voted to ban natural gas in our state starting with Puget Sound Energy. Unfortunately, Senator Kauffman forgot about her community and voted for this bill. A bill that will force the residents of the 47th to replace their natural gas equipment and go to all electric. A cost of at least $50,000. Our communities can’t afford that, our seniors can’t afford that, and for someone who claims to support the minority communities she is doing a bad job at it. Contact her and tell her how you feel.

9/11 is a day that I will never forget. I was getting ready for my day when the news of the first plane broke. The rest of the day was spent praying for our nation and watching with the rest of the country in horror. I will never forget this day and the sacrifices so many made.
