Connection Assembly

Today we want to highlight our Children’s Pastors, Christian and Kayla Colvin!

This month we celebrate FIVE years with them serving in this position. They are dedicated, faithful, and selfless in everything they do. If you know Kayla and Christian, you have probably been impacted by them in some way - whether that is through their servant hearts or their Christ-like love, they are changing lives.

We are so blessed to have them leading our kids ministry. This summer is their third year leading the Summer Days program and it is continually growing! Each Monday through summer break, they organize a full day of lessons, worship, and games and they do it all with a true passion to see these children know the Lord.

Kayla and Christian go beyond what is asked of them and honor the Lord with everything they have.

Thank you both for living in obedience to the call on your lives, we love you!

Sunday morning Pastor Kim brought an amazing word on what it means to truly follow Christ and what that should look like. She asked, “Is there evidence in your life that you have left something to follow Jesus?” This could look different for everyone, but what have you personally surrendered, laid down, forsaken, or given up to fully give Him your all?

A few reminders:
- Father’s Day is NEXT Sunday and we will have Pastor Glenn Dorsey as our guest speaker, you don’t want to miss it!
- Our youth are at camp this week, let’s continue to pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit for them!
- Young Adults, our Wednesday night class will be held at Soda Jerk this week @ 6:30! 🍦☀️

This weekend is FULL at Connection Assembly!

Outreach is this Saturday morning, 9am-11am. If you are planning to serve, please be at the church at 8:30 for a quick meeting and prayer before we get started!

Saturday evening the men will be gathering for a Revival Night with guest speaker, Dwayne Maynard at 5pm. A BBQ dinner will be served following service, come hungry!

We are looking forward to a weekend of connection!

- YTH Summer Nights! This Friday, 7pm - 11pm!
- Men’s Revival this Saturday night, starts @ 5:00pm.
- Outreach this Saturday morning, 9am - 12pm, if you are planning to help, be at the church at 8:30.
- Our youth will be leaving for camp next week, 15th - 18th! Be in prayer for a move of God in their lives and a great camp experience!
