Attention Oak Creek Military Families! The deadline is rapidly approaching to nominate someone for this year's Military Banner program.

Once again, the City will be purchasing and displaying banners at Drexel Town Square for current Oak Creek service members. The Program is designed to encourage the Community to honor and recognize Military personnel from Oak Creek. The banners will display the official military photo of the service person, as well as his or her name, rank and branch of the U.S. Armed Services.

Banners will be displayed from Memorial Day until Labor Day, and will then be presented to honorees (or their family) at the Veterans Day Remembrance Ceremony.

Banner recipients will be chosen based on both Military service and community service.

Medical training was a huge success this past weekend! Our Drill Sergeants did a phenomenal job preparing our warriors on how to save lives while under attack. Each casualty had an amputated leg and gunshot wound to the chest and they had to figure out how to treat the casualties while under enemy fire and then call in a 9 line medevac to get the casualties to safety. OUTSTANDING JOB DET 3 & 4 MILWAUKEE RSP!! 🙌😆💪🇺🇸
