We are an Homeless Day Shelter in Kenosha, Wi First Step Services provides a safe haven for any homeless individual or family that is without adequate housing.
This includes individuals enrolled in the Inns program, Living at a train or bus station, park or car, Living in an abandoned building, or any other situations that are suitable.
First-Step will be moving its page to this one. In 10 days this page will no longer exist. With that said, First-Step is overhauling its web presence. As such, we have created a new page, as you see here, a FB group where everyone can engage in thoughtful discussion regarding homelessness, a place where we can brainstorm so as to find ways to help remedy this issue, and we are in the process of building a website. Because we are a family, we feel that it necessary to keep everyone abreast of any and all changes that may impact you. Your patience and support is very much appreciated.

Just a heads up: First-Step is in DESPERATE need of sleeping bags and blankets for our guests who sleep outside. Any and all help would be very much appreciated.
Ok, everyone, it has been almost a year but we have our page back up and running. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and look forward to building a better tomorrow with you.
