Here’s The Jade Castle by Christa Yelich-Koth Author Page

Bekk cannot seem to stay awake. As a sophomore in high school, it doesn’t bode well for his education, or the social services agent breathing down his older brother—and guardian’s—neck. But Bekk can’t help it. He’s being plagued by dreams—dreams from his childhood, about a land called Iyah. If he doesn’t snap out of it soon, he’ll be taken away from the only family he has left. But when the school psychologist insists it’s a childhood reaction to the trauma of his parent’s death, Bekk’s only recourse is to figure out the meaning of his dreams, before it’s too late.

Here’s Sahara's Revenge by Shannon Blake Books

This isn’t her planet…but it is her fight. And she intends to finish it.

Sahara Acwellan has nothing left. Her mission to assassinate the head of the ruthless galactic collective known as the Drakkin was a total failure. They destroyed her family and her homeworld, and she is headed to the desert planet of Silesia to serve a life sentence in the mines.

But then her prisoner transport ship crashes in the sands, and she is taken in by the last remaining human stronghold on the planet. Now that she’s free, she wants revenge...and she won't let anything stand in her way.

Sahara finds an ally in Jared Alareth, a man whose past is not so different from her own and whose hatred of the Drakkin runs almost as deep. But there are other forces at work on Silesia that Sahara doesn’t understand…and when evil closes its grip around your throat, betrayal is a small price to pay for survival.

If she and her scrappy rebel force can bring down the Drakkin, they will liberate the galaxy…but if she fails, it will mean their annihilation.

Here’s Journey to the Water by Madeline Crane

After a thousand years of tyranny, the holy city of Phyreios is free. Its freedom comes at the cost of many lives, among them the healer Khalim, beloved by many but none more than Eske of the Bear Clan, the warrior from the North. Now Eske is alone, and a new king, a god in Khalim's guise, presides over the city's survivors. Of Khalim himself, nothing remains but a memory and a riddle: in order to follow him, one must travel beyond the edge of the world, breach the gate of bone on a day without a sun, and cross the river of memory, deeper than the sea.

Armed with his strength, his wits, and a good tale or two, Eske sets off across the known world, encountering priests of forgotten gods, great beasts of ancient times, and sorcerers of uncanny power. He will perform any task, make any sacrifice, for the chance to see his beloved again.

Inspired by Robert E. Howard's CONAN THE BARBARIAN and Ursula LeGuin's EARTHSEA novels, JOURNEY TO THE WATER concludes the epic story begun in BEYOND THE FROST-COLD SEA.

Here’s Briardark by S.A. Harian:

For Dr. Siena Dupont and her ambitious team, the Alpenglow glacier expedition is a career-defining opportunity. But thirty miles into the desolate Deadswitch Wilderness, they discover a missing hiker dangling from a tree, and their satellite phone fails to call out.

Then the body vanishes without a trace.

The disappearance isn't the only chilling anomaly. Siena's map no longer aligns with the trail. The glacier they were supposed to study has inexplicably melted. Strange foliage overruns the mountainside, and a tunnel within a tree hollow lures Siena to a hidden cabin, and a stranger with a sinister message...

Holden Sharpe's IT job offers little distraction from his wasted potential until he stumbles upon a decommissioned hard drive and an old audio file. Trapped on a mountain, Dr. Siena Dupont recounts an expedition in chaos and the bloody death of a colleague.

Entranced by the mystery, Holden searches for answers to Siena's fate. But he is unprepared for the truth that will draw him to the outskirts of Deadswitch Wilderness-a place teeming with unfathomable nightmares and impossibilities.
