A couple weeks back I had the pleasure of attending and photographing the Midwest Young Artists Conservatory's annual fundraising gala. This year's event raised more than $175,000 to support MYAC's mission of using the power of music to enrich the lives of their students and the community!

Chill summer vibes captured on Dubblefilm Treat 35mm film. The halation effects and 'charming quirks' of this film are giving "take me back there".

No, it's not something out of Stranger Things, but rather a preview of shots on 35mm Dubblefilm Treat color C41 film. This film is based on motion picture Kodak Vision 250D with the protective remjet layer removed. They point out that "you might notice some charming quirks", and sure enough, I did, along with a bit of leftover remjet making an appearance. But hey, how do you get those charming quirks if you don't try something different? Stay tuned for some shots from this roll. (Bonus points if you can decode frame #1 😀

Each year the Village of Green Oaks puts on their annual Santa Parade. While this year was more than a little bit cold, the spirit of Christmas kept Santa, village staff, and village officials warm!
