3 Rivers Community Foundation
The 3 Rivers Community Foundation supports area nonprofits through grants and endowments.
Founded in 1999, 3 Rivers Community Foundation (3RCF) is a community endowment whose mission is to create opportunities for perpetual giving to support nonprofits in Benton and Franklin counties, now and into the future. We enhance the value of our investment by providing a wide array of educational services and other nonfinancial support to improve nonprofit sustainability. The Foundation also offers opportunities for people to invest in our community through unique and effective ways.
Grants are just the beginning.
Our local nonprofits do incredible work, but their needs don’t end when the grant cycle does. This article dives into how community foundations can support nonprofits year‑round with resources, relationships, and long‑term stability.
If you want to learn about strengthening our local nonprofit ecosystem, this is a must‑read!

Funding opportunity for nonprofit capital projects...
The Washington State Department of Commerce is soliciting applications from non-profit organizations to support planning and readiness activities for capital projects expected to be completed or shovel-ready within the next five years. This includes funding for pre-development and pre-construction work, such as feasibility studies, design, permitting, and stakeholder engagement. These small grants (less than $50,000) are for nonprofits that have identified a critical planning or design component for their capital project but lack the resources to fund it.
Applicants must be designated as a non-profit in Washington by the state Secretary of State and the IRS, and be licensed to do business in Washington or commit to becoming licensed within 30 days of award. Applicants must have a capital project that is expected to be completed or shovel-ready by 2030.
Initial summary due January 20th. Head to https://rebrand.ly/23dc2b to learn more
