🌈🐾 Thank You, Tri-Cities Pride! 🐾🌈
What an incredible day at the Tri-Cities Pride Festival! We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by the Mighty Meow Kitten Rescue adoption booth, said hello, cuddled a kitten, asked questions, shared stories, donated, volunteered, or simply showed support for our mission. The event brought together our community in celebration of love, acceptance, and compassion, and we were honored to be a part of it.
Events like Pride remind us that families come in all shapes, sizes, and species. Every conversation, every share, every donation, and every adoption helps us continue providing lifesaving care to the tiniest and most vulnerable kittens in our community.
A special thank you goes out to our amazing volunteers who spent the day setting up, answering questions, handling kittens, and representing Mighty Meow with kindness and enthusiasm. We couldn't do any of this without you.
And to the kittens—thank you for being your adorable, purring, attention-stealing selves. You made a lot of people smile.

Meet Oingo Boingo! ❤️
Oingo Boingo came into Mighty Meow Kitten Rescue all alone at just one day old. While bottle babies often steal our hearts, singleton kittens come with their own unique challenges.
Kittens learn important social skills from their littermates—how to play appropriately, how to read body language, and even how to use their energy without turning into tiny furry chaos goblins. When a kitten grows up alone, they can miss out on those lessons.
After completing quarantine and ensuring everyone is healthy, we try to pair singleton kittens with other kittens whenever possible. This helps them learn how to "cat" from other cats and gives them opportunities to wrestle, play, groom, and build confidence.
In this video, Oingo Boingo is spending time with Korvin, one of our older foster kittens. While introductions are always supervised, these interactions help singletons develop into well-adjusted, social cats.
Not every rescue has the luxury of a house full of kittens to choose from, which can make finding the perfect match a challenge. Thankfully, Oingo Boingo has plenty of foster friends willing to show him the ropes!
And judging by his attitude, we're pretty sure he thinks he runs the place already. 🖤🐾

A Message from Mighty Meow Kitten Rescue
I honestly can't believe this needs to be said, but here we are.
Today, a comment was left on one of our posts attacking both our rescue and members of our community because we chose to participate in a family-friendly Pride event. The individual responsible has been removed and banned from our page.
Let us be perfectly clear: hate, discrimination, and personal attacks will not be tolerated here.
Mighty Meow Kitten Rescue exists for one reason: to save kittens and cats in need. We do not ask about race, religion, political beliefs, gender identity, sexual orientation, or who someone loves before helping an animal. We simply help.
Likewise, we welcome adopters, volunteers, fosters, donors, and supporters from all walks of life. Compassion does not come with conditions, and kindness is not reserved for only those who look, think, or live exactly like we do.
If someone chooses not to support our rescue because we believe everyone deserves respect and dignity, that is their choice. We will continue focusing on what matters: saving lives, supporting our community, and finding loving homes for kittens in need.
The only thing that will get someone removed from seeing our page is hateful behavior, harassment, or wishing harm on animals or people.
Thank you to the overwhelming majority of our supporters who continue to show kindness, compassion, and respect every day. You are the reason we are able to do this work.
