Is it spring time?!

We’ve had a busy fall
Clearing brush and tree’s to make room for new irrigation pivots on our cow farm! The kids are excited to eliminate a bunch of handline moving going forward!

2nd cutting has started! Thankful for cooperating weather this time around! Hope everyone is having a great summer so far!

Unfortunately we have another bottle calf this year! Momma didn’t want to nurse her. So momma goes down the road and baby gets to come live in the barn with the horses. .hanberg

Hope everyone is doing well and getting ready for spring! We will have a few grass and grain finished steers available for mid fall butcher dates. We realize this is still a long ways away, but necessary for us as feeder prices of calves are as good as they have been in awhile. Half and whole beef available, look forward to supplying you with our farm raised beef!

Had our first calf of the year this morning!

Fed the girls a little heavy today! We’re ready for summer! 😀😀

The time has come! We will start feeding hay to the spring cow herd today! Thankful that we have been able to utilize rotating pastures this long as many fellows ranchers have been feeding hay for months due to the drought! It will take us about 115 ton of hay to get through the winter feeding all the mommas and babies!

Happy Halloween! Family day getting spring calves worked and replacement heifers kicked out with the bull!
