Feeling very creatively accomplished today during my studio time. Still have to perfect getting them off the wheel, but having a lot of fun!

The last little guy I’ve named “Fatigue” because the clay gave up. I decided to embrace the imperfection and it will become a sweet little bud vase.

You’ve all heard me talk and post about Thistle and here are the reasons why:

1. It’s healthy. Protein packed and fresh. It’s helped me level some things out in the past 3-4 months.
2. It’s easy. Shows up portioned and ready to eat. No time at all to have something delicious.
3. It’s budget-friendly. Truly. I’m honestly surprised how much we spend going out. It also saves time. 🙂

I realize that it’s not for everyone and we all have our own dietary systems, but for me, for now, this is winning.

Time to get messed up.

Welcome to today’s episode of “Our Home is as old AF” - playroom edition.

All we wanted to do was replaced the terra-cotta flooring with some reclaimed pine flooring to match the rest of the house.

Enter wood rot, enter structural problems, enter easily 3x the budget. DO NOT misconstrue this as complaining, but as educational for anybody who is interested in buying a historic home.  renovations and projects are NEVER what they are planned to be.

Looks like the kids will just be appreciating a playroom instead of Disney this Christmas! :-)
