Matcha is wildly popular now. Here's some of the basics:
Grown in Japan, Matcha is powdered green tea, and is not steeped but rather whipped into freshly boiled water. Place 1/2 teaspoon in a bowl or large cup. Pour in 1 cup freshly boiled water and stir vigorously with a fork or whisk until frothy.

This is a refreshing drink made with milk and sugar, served both hot and on ice.
