Dragon for Kaori 🐉

I think I spent a long time trying to separate “life” from “art”.

But lately I’ve been realizing my work is literally made from the small things I carry around with me:

forest walks,
coffee shops,
motherhood,
tiny creatures,
books,
conversations,
tattoos,
meltdowns,
quiet moments,
beautiful strangers,
animals,
old cameras,
healing,
and trying to stay soft in a very loud world.

I think people connect to tattoos not just because of the final piece…
but because they can feel the life behind it.

Anyway.
A little visual diary for you 🍂

A lot of new people here lately!

So I thought I’d reintroduce myself a little.

Maybe this explains my art better.

The Trap in the Forest 🌿

Type / Species

A carnivorous bloom said to grow where grief was buried instead of spoken aloud.

Where It Lives

Wet forest floors, abandoned gardens, and places untouched for too long.

What It Represents

Hidden emotions, quiet resilience, and the strange beauty of learning how to protect yourself.

Strange Behavior

It stays completely closed around strangers, but slowly opens in the presence of someone carrying deep tenderness.

Some travelers claim the plant hums softly before rain.

Message for Those Who Tattoo It

The Trap in the Forest is often chosen by people who survived difficult seasons without becoming cruel. It symbolizes softness that learned how to defend itself.

The Twin-Star Fawn ✨

Type / Species

A rare celestial forest fawn born when two souls try to grow in opposite directions without leaving each other behind.

Where It Lives

Moonlit clearings where two paths meet in the woods.

What It Represents

Duality, transformation, and learning how to exist as more than one version of yourself at the same time.

Strange Behavior

Its two heads never sleep facing the same direction. One watches the past. The other watches what’s coming next.

The stars across its body are said to appear during periods of emotional transformation. No two fawns carry the same constellation.

Message for Those Who Tattoo It

The Twin-Star Fawn is often chosen during seasons of reinvention, quiet rebirth, or moments when someone is finally learning to choose themselves.
