The Pre-ECNL girls had their first meet up and practice of the summer this past Saturday! ☀️

Coaches Al Silvas and James Sam-Pang were introduced by Coordinator Ryan Hodkinson, team meetings were held, and the players were put through their first practice and small sided games! 🔥⚽️🥅

It was a great start to the summer for this promising group of girls! Looking forward to seeing all they can do! 👏

LFSC Phoenix took home another W last night in a 2-1 victory against arch (friendly) rivals, BRSC Capitals 🤝

Thank you to all of our fans and LFSC players who came out to support! It was an exciting one!

Man of the Match (x2!):
* Alex Michael ( # 22, Defender) delivered an outstanding defensive performance on the even of his 21st birthday! Happy birthday, Alex! 🥳
* Matt Hammons ( #16 Defender/GK) stepped up and went in goal after a goalkeeper was sent off. Matt is usually an outfield player but he donned the gloves in our hour of need. 🙏

We played half of the game a man down, scored both goals with 10 men on the field, and still walked away with the victory! That puts us at the top of the conference with just two regular season games left before playoffs. 🔥

Our next Phoenix game will be Saturday, June 13th at 7:15 against the SWLA Hurricanes at Lafreniere Park.
