We lost another brother!

Officer David Sherrard (37 years old) was shot and killed in the line of duty yesterday evening (02/0718) responding to a disturbance at 4250 E. Renner Rd (Breckinridge Point Apartments). Officer Sherrard was a 13 year veteran and member of our SWAT Unit. He exemplified the professionalism, heroism, and strong character inherent in all Richardson police officers. We are grieving and deeply hurt by this loss. We are grateful for the outpouring of support by the public and continue to ask for prayers for Officer Sherrard's family and friends.
