I got news!
I'm working on some webpage updates and changes: New simplified homepage, Full project build spreads to follow along with, updating photography, and a few other house cleaning items I have to do.
The Autolist will be up to date shortly! And for the time being, I'm officially putting articles to the side, though older articles can still be accessed. I just don't have the time to sit down and write like I did before with 5 project cars, a full time job, Carshows every other weekend and a desire to have somewhat of a break 😅
I'll also have the rest of the Keene Craft fest up shortly!
Until then, see what I HAVE gotten done at

Sooooo listen.
I snowball things a lot. That's kind of what I do. And I was REEEEEAAAAALLY trying to just stuff this 305h.o. into this car without a fuss.
But the manifold studs are IN THERE. And after 2 hours of welding washers and nuts just to snap them off, they aren't coming out. I have zero desire to drill and tap them either.
So I get to thinking "well I have that used Rattlesnake cam, double roller chain, edlebrock intake and those refurbed heads just sitting around" so I slept on it. And this morning I still think it's a great idea to swap the top end.
BUT THEN I SEE THIS. And it's right down the friggin road.
Is this a sign to throw racecar parts at this thing? This might be a sign.

Well ain't that just the prettiest lil control arm on the planet.
Does it count as 'powder coated' since I left it to bake in the sun?

Mocked up the taillights and bumper just to see it look like a real car.
The goal is for it to be a fairly low Autocross car, and I've been thinking about paint.
Nothing crazy, just a few paint match rattle cans - but I'm stuck between the Olive green and this like auburn red of the new body parts.
Thoughts?

Some times you just need to set an unobtainable goal to get something started.
To put the 200r4 into my '78 is going to require a bit more fabrication than I was originally lead to believe aaaaaaand I just can't keep watching the '86 sit there.
So I yanked it out of the woods, cleaned it out, hosed it down and decided to put the matching dash and 305H.O. into it.
There's a bit of extra details that need to be seen too but I'd need some progress in my life - and a gbody to absolutely hammer on (I've become too attached to the '84).
