It's time to get crafty in the library! ✂️

Join us for a night of junk journaling where we'll use crafting supplies and personal memorabilia to create your very own junk journal or add to your existing one. We'll provide some crafting supplies, but please bring your own materials, too!

What is junk journaling? It's similar to scrapbooking but less polished and structured. Here, we'll use scraps and random tidbits of found materials to express ourselves and preserve memories. Think about receipts from purchases on a trip, ticket stubs from a movie, a torn piece from a brochure, etc.!

Join us on Friday, June 26th, at 3-4 pm for a performance from Bright Star Theater here at the Katy Library! Step into the prehistoric world with Dino Academy! Led by the quirky and curious Dr. Sarah Tops, this action-packed adventure uncovers fascinating dino facts that will wow even the biggest dino fans. Featuring life-like, colorful dinosaur puppets that stomp, roar and charm their way into every heart, this show blends science, storytelling and imagination in the style of your favorite nature programs. It’s an unforgettable field trip through time—without ever leaving your seat! Best for K-5.

This is a free program. Tickets will be available 15 minutes prior to the start time!
