This morning, we concluded our National Health Center Week activities with our annual Back-to-School Vaccine & School Supply Drive Fair at our Cy-Fair clinic!

We were thrilled to welcome a record-breaking number of families and are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to support so many children and families in our community.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing staff, community partners, and dedicated providers who spent their Saturday morning with us making this event possible. Your commitment to our community truly makes a difference!

Esta mañana, concluimos las actividades de la Semana Nacional de los Centros de Salud con nuestra feria anual de Vacunación y Suministros Escolares para el regreso a clases en nuestra clínica Cy-Fair.

Estuvimos encantados de recibir a un número récord de familias y estamos increíblemente agradecidos por la oportunidad de apoyar a tantos niños y familias en nuestra comunidad.

We conclude National Health Center Week by celebrating Gratitude and Future Vision Day, where we recognize the contributions and commitment that make community health centers stronger.

From our staff to our patients, we thank everyone who contributed to making this week memorable and for supporting our mission throughout the year. This summer, we had the privilege of hosting two high school students through the Office of Commissioner Lesley Briones, Precinct 4 Emerging Leaders Program at Spring Branch Community Health Center.

Today, we were honored to join Commissioner Briones in celebrating the hard work, growth, and achievements of this year's Emerging Leaders. Watching these young leaders develop their skills, expand their knowledge, and gain firsthand experience in healthcare has been truly inspiring.

We are incredibly proud of Analisa and Muhammad and grateful for the opportunity to help inspire the next generation of leaders. We can't wait to see all they accomplish in the future.

Health Focus Conditions Day spotlights the critical role community health centers play in addressing the health conditions that affect the communities they serve. At SBCHC, we believe prevention is the foundation of better health. On August 5, our Community Health Team provided free screenings at our Pitner Clinic and West Houston Clinic, including HIV testing, blood pressure checks, and glucose screenings. Team members also connected patients with community resources and promoted our medical services at SBCHC to support their ongoing health and wellness. Thank you to everyone who stopped by yesterday. Your health matters, and we are honored to be part of your journey toward a healthier future.

El «Día de Enfoque de Condiciones de Salud» pone de relieve el papel fundamental que desempeñan los centros de salud comunitarios a la hora de abordar las afecciones de salud que afectan a las comunidades a las que atienden. En SBCHC, creemos que la prevención es la base de una mejor salud. El 5 de agosto, nuestro Equipo de Salud Comunitaria ofreció pruebas de detección gratuitas en nuestras clínicas Pitner y West Houston, entre las que se incluyeron pruebas del VIH, controles de la presión arterial y pruebas de glucosa. Los miembros del equipo también pusieron a los pacientes en contacto con recursos comunitarios y promocionaron nuestros servicios médicos en SBCHC para apoyar su salud y bienestar continuos. THIS WEEKEND! Join us at the Back-to-School: Vaccines and School Supplies Drive on Saturday, August 8. We will be offering vaccinations, backpacks, school supplies, games, snacks, and snow cones while supplies last. To receive vaccines and school supplies, a parent or guardian must be present with the child and their vaccination records. See you there!

Ofreceremos vacunas, mochilas, material escolar, juegos, aperitivos y helados, hasta agotar existencias.
