IS IT TIME FOR A COVER/TITLE REVEAL?!

I'm soooo excited to finally share details about my upcoming new Spruce Texas release: Mama Sue & Daryl Move To Spruce And Get Messed Up. (I worried the title was too long, but my glass of wine said it's ok, just go with it.) The plot is basically me being tired of being single in this increasingly lonely world, and where better to go than Spruce where, like, all the guys are gay, I guess? My mom was bored and just wanted to come, too. (Also, she has undisclosed beef with Nadine Strong.) The basic gist of the plot is, I don't find a guy. The guys find me. They're all like, Daryl, why are all the dudes in this town gay? This town is only so big. You're gonna run out of guys to write about. And I, armed with my glass of wine, am like, "No, I won't run out of guys, I will find 500 more guys to write Spruce Texas stories about, and why are you complaining? Isn't it nice here? Isn't love great? You literally have a mayor whose side hustle is matchmaking lonely gay men!" Long story short: no one's having it, I don't find myself a boyfriend, and my mom and Nadine are still going at it about God knows. Also, there's a cow in the story somewhere. I don't know when this book will release, but hopefully soon, because we're still stuck in Spruce and I wanna get home before BTS drops another music video and my mom loses her s**t.

Honestly, I'll probably just scrap this whole story and continue my original idea of what's-her-name's lonely son chasing a handsome rock star across Texas. Happy April 1st, everyone! 💕💕💕

I hate to "tease" too much... but I'm in the middle of writing the next Spruce Texas book, and I'm feeling something seriously special about it. I'm pretty sure both our leading men will take you by surprise if the storyline itself doesn't first. One of the main characters you've met and known since book 1, but not in quite so personal a capacity. The other lead is a new face I'm thinking will quickly become your new favorite heart throb. The best thing about these guys is that it isn't some insta-googly-eyes love-at-first-sight thing. It's real. It's messy. (It doesn't involve Nadine Strong playing matchmaker, thank the gods. 😅🙈) And I hope it'll sweep you straight off your music-lovin' feet.

I don't have a cover yet. I don't even have a title. I'm SO locked into these guys and their story, I'm certain both will come in due time. And as soon as I have something to show you, even if it's a glimpse, you're gonna be the first ones to see, promise. 😉

I can't remember the last time I was this excited to share a book with you. Literally jumpy with anticipation. I can't wait. Spruce, here we come... 🙃🥴🙃🥴💥
