Living on Kauai is such a luxury that I often take for granted. One of my all time favorite places to be is on or in the water and I'm sad to say I don't make it a priority often enough. However, I was absolutely sure to make time for a Sunset Cruise with 🌊 The experience is ALWAYS inspiring, refreshing and relaxing whether you get to do it often or it's your first time.

This house started as a dark and dated Princeville home. The Brazilian cherry floors were installed at a diagonal every plank was cupping. The kitchen was poorly laid out and positioned.

The solution? Take everything out!

It takes a talented team to make a project successful, I rely on my construction crew to see my vision into reality so project management is a key component in my full service package.

It's been a while since I've put my face on this page, I think it's time for a new introduction.

To those of you that are new, Aloha and Welcome, thank you for following 🫶🏼 My name is Briana Baker. I am the CEO and Principal Designer at .design located on the beautiful island of Kauai, HI. I've been honored to call this place home since early 2015.

I received my degree in interior design almost 20 years ago and I've been actively honing my skills ever since. I was lucky enough to get my first job right after graduation with a well respected high end kitchen designer and have honestly taken away more from those couple of years than my time spent in class.

Since I am a full service interior design studio, I specialize in kitchen and cabinetry design and love to incorporate that experience and knowledge into custom built-ins and furniture design. My husband is a very talented woodworker and often is the craftsman to my custom designs.
