Wildfire Equestrian

Our Week 2 campers are settled in and having a blast! Yesterday morning, they sharpened their riding skills, learned the basics of equine first aid, and explored horse anatomy by labeling a real pony. We also celebrated a camper birthday! 🎉 Then it was time to get creative—campers put their chef hats on to make homemade horse treats before wrapping up with a camp favorite: horse lick canvas painting! 🎨🐴✨

Week 2 of camp is in full swing, and the fun keeps going! 🐴✨

Our campers spent the day building their riding skills, learning how to properly bathe a horse, and developing their horsemanship by helping muck stalls. After getting creative and decorating their own canvas bags, our riders headed back to the arena for ba****ck balance and coordination exercises, building confidence and strengthening their connection with their horses.

It was a day full of learning and hands-on horse adventures—we can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings! ❤️🐎

Today we welcomed our second week of campers! We jumped right into the fun with riding, grooming, tacking, horse handling, safety and balance exercises. To make the day even more memorable, we created tie-dye T-shirts, painted ponies and enjoyed a special visit from the ice cream truck! We’re excited for all the adventures, learning, and fun still to come with this amazing group of campers. 🐴🍦🌈.

We wrapped up our first week of camp on a high note! Our campers started the day with a riding lesson, then put their balance and coordination to the test with a mounted golf ball-on-a-spoon challenge. They also enjoyed a scavenger hunt that took them all around the stable in search of clues and fun surprises!

After lunch, everyone cooled off with snow cones, got creative with a horse head craft, and finished the day with plenty of laughs and splashes on the inflatable slip-and-slide!

We’re on the homestretch of camp and still learning, growing, and having a blast! Today, our campers saddled up for a morning trail ride, learned how to disassemble, reassemble, and properly clean a bridle, identified the parts of an English saddle, and even designed their own jumping courses.

To wrap up the day, campers created unique horse footprint paintings, navigated a human jumping course to practice gaits and leads, and took on a fun barrel-balancing challenge. We topped it all off with a refreshing popsicle treat— the perfect ending to another fantastic day at camp! ☀️🐴

To top off an exciting day, they made homemade horse treats and created colorful horse lick canvas paintings. It was a day full of hands-on learning and creativity! 🐴✨

Another fun-filled day of camp is in the books! Our campers spent the day riding, bathing horses, mucking stalls, and taking part in a crowd favorite—painting the horses! They also got creative with a fun custom bag craft and beat the heat with a special visit from the ice cream truck. We’re making memories and having a blast every day! ❤️🐴
