We LOVE creating never before seen props & bring high quality creations to 1000's across the world!
It is with heavy heart that I have to announce the closing of the makers space and physical location of the prop shop. The makers space is done but the prop shop will still exist online. I will continue to make props as I have for the last 17 years.
Makers spaces typically have a failing buisness model that require a shop on the side to make it. Due to the low membership rates and the drop in festivals and events over the winter we simply cannot afford to keep the doors open. However the prop account program that we developed will still exist. If there comes a point that membership density in a certain city gets high enough we will reopen a new location there.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported this dream. Despite the difficulties it was all very fun! ❤️🔥😎🤘🏿

Trish Fields just joined the makers space today & we spent the last 5-6 hours designing these butterfly wings. Got a few more days to go before the vision is complete.
Super excited for the finished piece and the virgin burn. This is what the prop shop & makers space is all about; Community & building wild visions for performance. Whats up fire fam? Been on the road so much we’ve been neglecting posting about the new stuff we’ve made. Well heres some news. We got a slew of Monkey Fist heads done & ready to thrill audiences!

The prop booth is getting pretty full! Been having a great time at KC Juggling Fest 2025.
Facebook informed me that it’s been 8 years since I created this page. That means that it’s been around the same time since I started my first LLC. 15 years as an artist has been an interesting road! Started with making Didgeridoo’s from PVC on rooftops in LA. That quickly turned into hitchhiking cross country playing music & evolved into living on the road with a dodge caravan converted to a mobile workshop!
Fire Dancing has been a passion starting before any of these on the road adventures started. I’m the type of person who loves to make things and quickly make anything that I’ve found an interest in. The business started as the didge, when it was just didgeridoo’s, became TreeMan’s Wood Goods when I expanded to making wood gauge earrings, pendant necklaces & burnings. Then again it changed to The Grateful Gecko when I added Fire props & started vending festivals!
From there I grew even bigger and started investing in real estate to make a chain of Art Gallery BnB’s in the Midwest & started a meadery! But through all of this Fire Dance has remained one of my biggest passions! So with renewed vigor I restarted the prop business with more focus on innovating new props & reducing prices on existing ones. What a wild ride it’s been in the process of creating Phoenix Fire Props!!!
Thanks everyone for following me! I can promise that the more engagement you have with these projects the bigger and more elaborate they will become! There are no ceilings on my ambition to create & the sky is not the limit! Thanks from the bottom of my heart to everyone who’s been there to support my art & allowed me to have an incredibly interesting & adventurous life!🙏🤗🎉
