A great day to be in Kansas City, especially here in the Westside!

Today, community members gathered at W Pennsylvania Avenue & Southwest Boulevard for the ribbon cutting and unveiling of Las Tarascas. This beautiful art installation, gifted from our sister city of Morelia, Michoacán, celebrates the rich culture, heritage, and connections that make our community so special.

Thank you to Fourth District Councilmembers Rea and Bunch, KCMO Public Works Department, the Westside Neighborhood Association, local businesses, and all community partners who helped make this project possible.
