MOCSA has been selected to receive $5,000 from Bon Iver's 2 A Billion campaign which aims to end gender inequality, domestic violence, and sexual abuse. The band donates 5% of their annual song publishing royalties to past 2AB partners. MOCSA was privileged to be a partner in 2022 and are grateful to receive support again. Thank you 2 A Billion and Bon Iver for making a difference for survivors!

The 2026 KCIC Brick-by-Brick Awards celebrated the people and projects making a difference in Kansas City's industrial areas and beyond. Nominees in the Central City Economic Development (CCED) category were recognized for their work strengthening neighborhoods and expanding access to critical services. Congratulations to:

Relocating and expanding a 39,000-square-foot crisis center serving thousands of survivors

Developing a workforce training center to expand mental health services and support individuals impacted by violence

Renovating a 75,000-square-foot facility providing studios, exhibition space, and community programming

🧱 KD Academy
Providing 24-hour childcare and education services for up to 400 children
