Spring semester EMR and EMT students working on their assessment skills for medical emergencies. If you’re interested in starting your career in EMS or Fire Service, we have the EMS education programs for you. Enrollment for the summer and fall semesters begin April 1st. Here, freshmen paramedic students are working through several medical emergency scenarios, including diabetic emergencies, allergic reactions, and Lupus exacerbation. During this semester, the students learn how to manage a wide range of medical emergencies, while developing their assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills. KCKCC Paramedic Program is now accepting applications for the next paramedic cohort starting in August 2026. Only one week left to enroll in an EMR or EMT class for the spring semester. We have spots still available in our EMR classes, M/W afternoon and evening classes, and T/Th morning class.
