What we know about biking to KC Stadium as of right now (we're hearing new info almost daily):
💚 YES! You can ride to the stadium. From the west, take the Brush Creek/Blue River Trail. You can lock up in the monitored bike parking area and take the shuttle up the hill to the stadium.
From the south, ride the Rock Island Trail and lock up at the official stadium bike racks at the trailhead near Lot L.

💚YES! You can ride Bike Share KC to a match! Here are some tips for a smooth ride:
* Bike SHARE means that when you end your trip, that bike is available for someone else to ride. Consider an Explorer Pass that will let you lock up and leave the meter running for 4 hours at a time at a reduced cost.
* Neither the Blue River Trailhead nor the Rock Island Trailhead are official Bike Share KC hubs. You can definitely park there, but expect a $2 out-of-hub fee if you end your trip.

Visit www.BikeShareKC.com for more info about bike share, plus a link to that really great map we recommend.

YES! You can bike to a match at KC Stadium. City leaders and event organizers are updating information almost daily about transportation to World Cup matches, and here's what we know right now:

If you're riding from the west, take the Brush Creek/Blue River trail or the bike path along Cleaver II/Leeds. Lock up at the monitored bike parking area at the terminus of the Blue River Trail and take the shuttle the rest of the way to the stadium.

If you're riding from the south, take the Rock Island Trail. Lock up at the bike racks at the end of the trail at Parking Lot L of the stadium.

Deadline June 30 📆 The City of Overland Park, Kansas Government Safe Streets Plan needs your input! Take the survey and drop a pin on the interactive map to tell decision makers which streets you love, and which streets need a safety upgrade.

Traffic patterns tell us one thing, but the view from your windshield tells us so much more. 🚗

Work is underway on the Overland Park Safe Streets Plan, a project designed to identify problem areas and improve road safety across the city. By matching crash data trends with the actual experiences of our residents, we can better prioritize future improvements where they are needed most.

Whether it’s a crosswalk that feels too long or an intersection that’s tricky to navigate, your daily commute holds the data we need. Help us build a safer community by sharing your feedback today!

Take the survey or drop a pin on our interactive map at https://www.opkansas.gov/876/Safe-Streets-Plan.
