My hope for this page is that it provides a supportive, loving and non-judgmental space for people to “Bless the Mess”. Our lives are very different today than they were even a few short months ago. Some things may never get back to the way they were. With these changes, our daily lives are extrem
ely challenging. We worry about our health, our ability to make a living, and worry that things will never get back to normal. We live with an overwhelming sense of fear and uncertainty. Fight or flight has become our new way of life. Mindfulness teaches us to thrive in adversity and to live in the present moment. As we journey through this beautiful, challenging, wonderful, awe-inspiring place called planet Earth we have to remember to Bless the Mess and cultivate gratitude. Just like the lotus flower blooms amongst the mud and the muck, we can as well. We can learn to adapt and change and grow. We can go from merely surviving to thriving. I have overcome great adversity and loss in my own life, and I have struggled...and I am still struggling so I welcome you to join me on this journey. My mission is help others as I help myself. If you want to succeed and embrace prosperity, peace, happiness, and joy, you have to start thinking differently. You have to get creative and stay motivated, even during times of great stress. You also have to maintain a positive attitude amongst upheaval and change and you may even need to reinvent yourself and start from scratch. This discovery journal is all about blessing the mess and sur-thriving in the new normal. It is possible to adapt in a changing world you just have to make it a daily habit. You can't give up. You need to think positively and live with a sense of hope. That is what this page is all about. In times of great change, you have to go back to the basics. You have to tap into that beginners' mind and think like a child. You have to see things with fresh eyes. Life can be challenging.
