Ashia Harris (Southland all conference selection) are committed to not only WINNING but WORKING. 6am. 6pm. Under the lights on Tuesdays and Fridays. Doesn’t matter. They show up and put the time in. Put the work in.
Their sole focus is getting better while putting Rich Township and themselves on the map PERMANENTLY. BELIEVE IN IT because they do. Because they have to. Transforming the culture is not for the weak or easily deterred.
Academically they are AP students both in the top 5% in a class of 650+ students. It is a condition of their training to maintain a 3.0. ELEVATING ATHLETES is the focus. Academically and athletically. It is an honor to train these young ladies. Here’s a look into our last workout of the season. And here’s to up next 🥂❗️

A season of ups and downs came to an end today. A 2 game fast start followed by a tough loss then 2 more victories. Then 3 unexpected forfeits due to Covid protocols. A derailed season. This group of seniors had to endure the toughest road a varsity athlete has ever faced.
1. A shortened 5 game spring season junior year with no post season and select opponents.
2. A 3 game forfeit streak due to Covid. after being 4-1 and returning to football 4-4 without playing a snap.
3. Opening a new stadium on senior day and homecoming after not playing or practicing for 21 days prior to last week.
They battled hard against every card stacked against them and we couldn’t be more proud. The desired outcome is ALWAYS winning and competing at the highest level. But for this group we’ll make an exception.
We aren’t Rich East. Rich South. Or Rich Central anymore. We are .
