Whipped Like a Rented Tesla — The Final Chapter.

This is where we land after a multiple days long, full 3 stage paint correction and over 200 rock chip touch-ups — on the hood alone.

We knew going in that this one had limitations. When a car has been through what this one has — rental fleet, gravel roads, brush car washes, repossessed, bought in low light — there are wounds that go too deep to fully erase with our processes.

What we knew we could do was make it dramatically better. And that’s exactly what happened.

Rental fleet. Repossessed. Whipped like a rented Tesla. But brought back to life — finally.

“Whipped Like a Rented Tesla” — Chapter 1.

You won’t believe what a bunch of Bozeman tourists did to this Tesla rental…or maybe you will…

This 2021 Tesla Model Y came to us with quite a story. It spent time as a rental in the Bozeman and Big Sky area — meaning strangers were behind the wheel, ripping it down long gravel roads, running it through the brush car wash repeatedly, and nobody had any reason to care about the paint.

Then it got repossessed.

After that it went up for sale, and the new owner — our customer — bought it in low light. Didn’t see the full extent of the damage until daylight told the whole truth.

And Tesla paint is already the softest in the industry. It doesn’t forgive neglect. Every brush car wash, every snow brush, every branch on a mountain road — it’s all still here.

Wash scratches. Swirl marks. Branch scratches. Rock chips down to bare metal. Marring around every handle and edge from hands that didn’t care.

This car was “whipped like a rented Tesla”. And we’re going to fix it.

2013 Camaro ZL1.

Full paint correction complete.

Started with a severely oxidized carbon fiber deck lid and defects throughout — 13 years of life on this paint.

Not everything was fixable. But everything that could be done in this shop, was done.
