🌟 Congratulations, Laurie! 🌟
We’re delighted to celebrate Laurie Ehardt and her breathtaking “Picture This!” quilt—a custom Quiltworx design created by Carie McGhie of Certified Shop Stitches and Crumbs using Quiltster and our Courtyard Mixer Series, featuring a striking bear panel from Northcott Fabrics. Inspired on an Alaskan Cruise retreat with Carie McGhie, Laurie brought this quilt to life and earned 3rd Place in the Assorted Techniques Any Size – Judged One or More Persons category at the Carson Valley Quilt Show, “Stitching Our Stars & Stripes,” in Gardnerville, NV.

Laurie also quilted it herself, using designs by Carrie Barone of Peak to Prairie Quilting—and the results are extraordinary!

Manitoba Prairie Quilters is raffling this queen sized Chantilly Star quilt.

Ticket will be available starting on June 18-20th at MPQ’s Concurrent show in Winnipeg during QUILT CANADA NJS. The quilt will be on display so you can get an in-person view. Tickets are $5.00 each and only 2000 were printed so be sure to stop by our table!

During the summer, the quit will be on display at different quilt fabric stores and events around the province - with tickets available at multiple locations. Follow along for a list of ticket locations.

Honey and Lavender is a limited edition foundation paper piecing pattern by Quiltworx.com. This complete kit includes 31 3/8 yards of fabric, carefully selected from Hoffman's Best Loved ombré collection designed by the talented McKenna Ryan — featuring the same shimmering muted lavenders, warm tans, burnished browns, and dreamy creamy florals you fell in love with in the pattern reveal. Binding fabric is included, so your heirloom is complete from center medallion to finished edge. The kit can be purchased with or without the pattern, in case you already have it! And, we are accepting orders again for two sizes! Queen or King, which will include the addition of the 4-tiered Adjustable Quiltworx Border, and coordinating fabrics, as shown below!

These kits are presently in Pre-Order Stage as our first shipment sold out in less than 24 hours, a very small second shipment has been used to fill as many possible orders on our waiting list, and we are now waiting on additional background fabrics to come in, which are expect port-side in late June, and in our hands the 2nd or 3rd week of July! If you are interested in this kit, please see the links at the top of this post! We hope to begin shipping by the end of July given that once received, we will need to cut the kits!
