A 45-year-old man, Michael Brown, walked into a small-town bar in Anaconda, Montana, and opened fire — six shot, four lives stolen.

We might be miles away, but if you’ve ever sat on a barstool in a small town, you know — we’re all connected. An unspoken family.

Small bars aren’t just places to grab a drink. They’re lifelines. They’re where you go when your world is falling apart—where someone remembers your name, your story, and your “usual.”

They’re also where people go to celebrate — making them an anchor for all of life’s extremes. They’re where laughter and heartbreak share the same space, and somehow, that makes it sacred.

To imagine that kind of space being violated — to picture the fear in a room that should feel safe — is gutting. It’s unthinkable. It shakes every single one of us who unlocks our doors each day believing in the good of people. And yet, here we are, holding the weight of it.

We might just be one little bar in Billings, Montana, but our hearts are with the Anaconda community tonight. With the owner. With the families who got the worst phone call of their lives. With the survivors who will carry this with them forever. With every bartender, every regular, every person who called that place home.

From one small bar to another: we see you, we grieve with you, and we’re praying like hell for you.❤️

And we’ll keep holding you, long after the headlines fade, because we know what these walls mean. We know what was lost. And we won’t forget.
