✨Scaling Sn**ches for Nancy | A Coaches Perspective✨
Ever wonder what goes into scaling an athlete!?! Here’s a sneak peak into today….
PRESCRIBED COMPLEX | Sn**ch DL + High Hang Power Sn**ch + 1/2 Sn**ch Balance (footwork focus) + Power Sn**ch
(Not seen) 15-20 minutes of shoulder mobility and working proper catch positioning with a pvc, so we can catch safely do that when the time comes. GOAL…let it be awkward (if it is), let’s see how the body (shoulders, lungs & back) feels.That feedback helps us in the moment and the future.
The sn**ch deadlift was about tinkering with stance — does it need to pivot from a traditional deadlift? Most of the time yes. & For Nancy, yes! A tweak here and there and we found comfort, confidence and an understanding of ‘why.’ Also worked through where to create tension and timing from the floor.
Today was a technique day, not a strength day, so we kept it even lighter!
