What a fun project, and it turned out absolutely stunning! This deck is fully picture framed with no butt joints in the field, some sections being parallel and others at a 45 angle. Wanting to avoid the plain old boring square butt joints on the perimeter, we came up with a pointed/arrowhead joint that just takes this finished product to a whole new level. If you ask us, it was worth the extra time and effort.

Huge shoutout to and for climbing the steep driveway and making this concrete pour an absolute breeze. Appreciate it boys.

Some pics of another recently completed ice dam prevention system. This system included heat cable through the valleys, eaves, gutters and even a heated gutter screen, protecting every vulnerability of this roof. With most of the gutters on this system feeding to direct underground drainage, about 30% of the heat cable is in that underground pipe, ensuring the ice melt from the roof drains completely. This means water won’t freeze in the downspouts or underground drainage, blocking it and causing damage from buildup of ice in the gutter system. Pretty cool, right?
