The family of Chuck Plummer invites the community to celebrate his life on Saturday, April 16th at The Kalispell Elks, 1820 US HWY 93 S.

Ceremony begins at 10:30am; reception and light lunch to follow, 12- 2pm.

Come for all or part, we would love to honor our favorite guy with you!

48 years ago Chuck Plummer had a dream to create a high quality butcher shop in the flathead valley. He started out by cutting meat in their 2-car garage and got to walk alongside his son, grandson, and several dedicated employees to see the dream ever expand into what Lower Valley Processing is today. Many of you knew him or were blessed to cross paths with him over the years. Please feel free to share your favorite memory of him in the comments below!

The 2021 Montana Meat Processors Association convention was held here in Kalispell at the end of April and is a yearly highlight. Our own Jeremy and Janell Plummer hosted the convention this year and did an amazing job lining up speakers, tours, and recreational activities. Processors from across the state bring products to be judged. We are proud of our crew and the awards we received this year!

1st Place - Smoked Turkey, Specialty Meat Snack Stick, & Innovative All Pork Category

2nd Place - Specialty Summer Sausage, Flavored Pork Belly Bacon, Specialty Item, Polish Sausage, & Small Diameter Cooked Sausage

3rd Place - Commercial Bacon & Formed Jerky

4th Place - Specialty Bacon & Fresh Sausage

ATTN HUNTERS: Due to staffing and regulatory issues, we will not be able to process Whole Game Animals this hunting season. We will continue to accept CLEAN (no grass, dirt, hair, fat or dark, dry meat) BONELESS TRIM for sausage products and grinding only – we won’t be cutting steaks, roasts, etc. – No Exceptions!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Any game that is pending CWD testing cannot be accepted until you can provide NEGATIVE Results of the CWD test.
