Most interesting man: Flathead Valley volunteer and author has led a captivating life He sipped his black coffee as he sat across the plastic table, with his 8-year-old Newfoundland-mix rescue dog, Hercules, curled up at his feet. Even at 68 years old, Palmiotti is not one to sit still.

Four members of North Valley Search and Rescue and one from our agency are currently involved in a 3 day training at the county in order to focus on critical incident stress management for first responders. Don't let the hard days win.

FCSAR members took a special course in avalanche prediction and response. The course included a full-day up at Blacktail Mountain!
