We are so grateful to everyone who showed up to our very first Candyland event in February!🍭

Thanks to your generosity, we’re proud to share that we not only reached our $15,000 goal to to improve the classroom experience for our little learners, we exceeded it!. Your support has made an immediate and meaningful impact on our early learning center.

Going into the event, we hoped to raise enough for just two classroom sinks to enhance the programming and learning experiences. We are so proud to say that we were able to fund and install four clasroom sinks!!

On days like these, when trying to juggle it all is a lot - remember you are a great mom for continuing to work and support your family! Thank you for trusting us with your most prized possessions! We promise to love and support your child's development in every way!❤️

On an app full of SAHMs I feel like this needs to be talked about more Of course this is not to shame SAHMs or say that it’s “better” to send your kid to daycare than to stay home with them. But there are real benefits to QUALITY childcare. We can’t thank everyone enough who came last night and supported us! The event was more than we prayed for!! Our teachers were fantastic! The games and activities were so great! Everyone had such a great time!

Every dollar raised comes directly to Growing Roots to support facility enhancements and upgrades - including getting plumbing into more classrooms to make day to day routines so much easier.

Make sure you get your wristbands for a night of fun! We will have activities/games in every classroom, face painting, bounce house, cotton candy, popcorn and more!

We will also have a Scholastic Book Fair set up and Mother Chorizos’ food truck will be there!

Our first annual Winter Candyland event will take place Friday, February 6, 2026 from 6:30-8:30pm. We are looking for donations that can be a part of the silent auction. Help us congratulate 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐳𝐢𝐞, recently nominated by a colleague who shared:

"Mackenzie is a crucial part of everything we do at Growing Roots. She goes above and beyond her job description to help out. She shares her creativity with all of Immanuel by donating her talents to the Gala auction, providing swag t-shirts to corporate events, and ensuring that Teacher Appreciation Week is filled with personalized gifts for all of our Growing Roots teachers. She has a smile on her face and is able to go with the flow in all we do, including impromptu tours with our CEO and his guests.

With toddler twins in tow, she works long hours to ensure everything is done each day. She takes work home and fields messages from teachers and parents 24/7. Mackenzie has excellent relationships with parents, teachers and children alike. Mackenzie demonstrates the Immanuel Spirit in everything she does!"
