As an organization, we have a lot of work to do and have started our path forward in learning and understanding systemic racism. As we are learning and evaluating our own systems, we'll be making changes that align with what we value most, people.⁠

We’re working to become an anti-racist organization and believe our team members’ differences in color, ethnicity, and race—while recognizing that everyone lives at the intersections of many other identities including age, disability, family or marital status, gender identity or expression, language, national origin, physical and mental ability, political affiliation, religion, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, veteran status, and other characteristics—make our team members unique. New year, new team member! Our FIRST post of 2020 is Isaac Stetson! Isaac is our Quality Assurance Specialist (aka he’s really good at breaking stuff). He’s even better at neatly filling up his desk with various cords and devices 👨‍💻. He’s efficient in other ways, too. Have you ever met someone that knows the exact amount of MiO or Gatorade Powder to add to water 💦 without making it too sweet? It’s this guy! His favorite pastime is trying new types of ramen 🍜, so it makes sense his bucket list includes a trip to Japan 🏯. We can appreciate a guy who knows a good bowl of noodles. He’s one heck of an addition to our team and we’re so ready for him to test all of the things 🤗. Here’s Isaac!

Say hi 😍 to our Maria Freed! Maria is joining our team as a Design Intern to help out with some extra client work we have goin’ on. You might think she looks familiar or recognize her last name… 😉 that’s because she’s the sister of one of our very talented Copywriters, Rachel Freed! She’s the definition of creative, preferring to spend her time painting or at Hobby Lobby (to buy more art supplies, of course). She’s also a freelance illustrator! Not to mention musician, snowboarder, and self-described “pretty good Halo player” 🎮😁. Maria is already blowing our minds with her talent for picking things up quickly and designing like. a. BOSS. We’re SO excited to see all that she accomplishes here 💥!

Our newest face in the office is Emily Kobza, Resource Manager extraordinaire! She’s the sweetest addition to our team (with a sweet tooth to boot - any take on ice cream, cookies, or better yet, ice cream + cookies together 🍦🍪 is her love language). She’s the woman that’s going to help us keep it together when it comes to budgets + deadlines on external + internal projects. Her caring + diligent personality makes her the perfect match for this position. Like us, she’s an HGTV super fan and loves to binge watch all things Beach Life 🏖, Fixer Upper 🛠, and House Hunters 🏡. No doubt she’d cash out at Crate & Barrel or West Elm given the chance. Her kind words and knack for accomplishing things makes our days better. Hi Emily, we 💟 you already!
