Friday was my volunteer day. I followed two tours groups through the assembly plant. My assignment was to keep the group together, keep them in the designated spaces and make sure they didn't touch anything. Both my guides and I did well. It's always a positive experience when nobody has to be ejected!

Looks like Toni has some competition in the Eye Catching Wrap category!

Friday Bash update from Ambassador Brian:
A Friday highlight was the donation to NCM of this 1973 Metallic Yellow 4spd AC coupe, by its original owner. Retired Col. Bob Foltyn placed his order in Dec 1972. He later served in various military theaters, as well as graduating from the now-famous Top Gun aerial combat school. Robert Maxheimer accepted the car during a ceremony at the north end of Corvette Blvd.

From Ambassador Brian Davies:
Things are well underway at the NCM Bash of 2026. Some of today's programs included the Ambassador meeting and a presentation from Assembly Plant Manager Ray Theirault. This provided me a chance to give you a glimpse into some of the plant operations, since I am not allowed a camera on Friday's tour schedule. Ray's seminar also featured two teams of audience members who had to mask a C8 "frunk" lid for the blackout procedure. The Red Mist team edged out the Roswell Green guys...but not by much. Paint Shop employees were the judges. According to them, none of the contestants would be offered jobs...

The last four pictures are the plant employees masking and the audience teams attempting to duplicate those procedures.

We had a dozen club members attend the Michigan Region Banquet this past weekend and had a wonderful time with all our fellow Corvette Family members from around the state! The banquet committee put on an amazing event and our club extends a huge appreciation for their hard work.

This weekend a dozen club members along with family took a trip to visit the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn. We had a wonderful time exploring the many wide ranging exhibits the Henry Ford has on display. Spending the day with our fellow Corvette family members is always such a pleasure and we are looking forward to the next adventure!
