✨Current Restoration Project!✨

Julie’s 1975 Miss Michigan portrait — restored!

Over time, indirect sunlight burned away much of the cyan ink in the original print, leaving the image heavily red. Isn't it crazy how light can slowly shift color chemistry over decades?!

This was the most faded photo I’ve worked on so far. Restoring it meant carefully rebuilding color through layering, masking, and leaning hard on color theory bringing me back to my printmaking days in college; but I was able to bring balance back into the image.

I’m really proud of how this one turned out — and more importantly, so are they!
