Been posting progress on my personal and neglecting my page here. So here they are I built a set of sealed, 3-way studio monitors, designed by Alain Paul. Decent amount of wiring to do to have a listen but will be able to fire them up this weekend.

Finished a build on a set of sealed 3-way passive monitors. Some rewiring to do of the interface, but should be able to fire them up pretty soon.

I’m immensely proud to have been involved with this record. Definitely go check it out.

Now that it’s properly wired to the patchbay I’m trying routing options and running some old mixes through this guy. Damn it sounds great. Only have 20 channels so I’m seeing how consolidated I can make the drums and still be happy.

Did some major changing of the position of the studio monitors, and with the newer console and less space between the monitors it was time to cut down the old mixer table a bit. Unfortunately as a result of the cutting process I had to do some refinishing as well.

Been using the control room for about 3 years now, and I’m just getting around to the space couplers. I went ahead and pulled everything out of the room save for the speakers. Was a bit tricky but with the ol’ plum Bob I was able to line it up on the floor and set the hanging points on the ceiling.

Next up is testing the speakers for final placement in the room. Preliminary tests show the best response against the treatment, but I haven’t done it proper just yet.

New release from Destroyer of Light, and a great write up from Decibel Magazine. I really feel that the fellas took a big leap artistically here, and it was a pleasure to have mixed it. I’m very proud to have been involved. Wonderfully recorded by Matt Meli and mastered by James Plotkin, couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out.
